First cut your old rubber inlet sockets off using a strong carpet knife as shown.
Use pliers to pull off as much rubber isolator tube as possible by peeling and ripping it off.
Soak the remaining rubber off the manifold by placing it in MEK solvent available at paint stores. It will remove all traces of rubber.
The new rubber intake socket is installed by pushing it over the flange lip on the manifold. This is done with a twisting motion. The rubber has an eccentric groove molded in. There is a key for the carburetor molded in on the other side. This key slot goes up.
