|This page shows how an H-68 diaphragm, that was designed to fit a Hitachi
carburetor, was used on a Keihin carburetor found on a Honda.
The small vent tube in the key-tab is sealed using the old tab cut from the
old diaphragm. Notice how the diaphragm is installed to "roll" up and down.
|This photo shows how it looks without the tab as the JBM H-68 diaphragm is first installed.
This is a user "HACK" to allow a part to be used in a carburetor that it was not designed for.
( NOTE: This bike was a Honda Magna model )
